Advancing Assessment Literacy Modules
The Advancing Assessment Literacy modules were developed by the Saskatchewan Professional Development Unit under contact with the Assessment for Learning Unit of Saskatchewan Learning.
The modules have been designed to stand alone and can be delivered by any experienced facilitator. They provide a range of entry points for beginning and sustaining conversations regarding effective data use in schools. The modules contain processes which encourage collaborative approaches for the use of data in schools.
Each module consists of a PowerPoint presentation and a detailed workshop plan with accompanying handout material. Some of the modules require preparation work in advance. Each module is designed to be completed in variable blocks of time to encourage their flexible use in a variety of contexts from staff meetings to full day workshops.
